First Blog for Lolita Bonita Bookstore

Five generations of my family were and are all readers. My Great Grandmother, my grandmother, my mother, me, and my daughters! We all love to read. Reading is not just a pastime for us it’s a passion. I read every chance I get.

I find myself getting stuck in a genre and sometimes find it hard to get out of. My all-time favorite is a cozy mystery. There is something about knowing that everything will end well, and the mystery will be solved. 

While looking at my social media I came across a thing called blind date with a book and fell in love!!! Blind date with a book is where you don’t pick the book you are getting. You pick the genre and then you also get some goodies with the book. I love getting the goodies added in, too!

I wanted to share this love with others and make them as happy as it makes me, when I get my surprise in the mail! So, I am opening up a website for blind dates with a book! I hope you are as interested in this as I am, and I hope that you get as excited about reading as me and my family. The store is not open yet but it is being built right now.

We will be sending out notices as soon as it is up and going. All our stock will be used books so that we can sell them at reasonable prices. With that being said, I assure you the books I get are in very good condition.
